How to buy electricity (Cash Power) tokens

What you need

• Your Cash Power meter number
• Money on MoMo or in your bank account

Steps

1. Choose a channel: MTN MoMo, your bank, the National Post Office, or the NOKANDA app.
2. Enter your meter number and the amount.
3. Pay. You receive the token number by SMS or receipt.
4. Type the token into your meter exactly as received.
5. If the token doesn't arrive or doesn't work, call REG on 2727.

Tips

• REG says it never asks for your MoMo PIN or bank details, and has no discount programmes. Calls or messages offering cheaper electricity are scams.
• REG doesn't accept cash payments to individuals. Pay only through official channels.
