What you need
- An Irembo account
- National ID (or passport for foreigners). Businesses need a TIN
- The plot's UPI number
Steps
- Log in to Irembo → Utilities → Water connection → Apply.
- Read and accept the contract, then choose individual, business or public institution.
- Enter your address (province down to village), expected water use and the plot UPI. Submit. You get a B2 tracking number.
- The sector reviews it and sends you a bill of quantities (materials to buy).
- Upload the EBM invoice for the materials and resubmit.
- Pay the bill. WASAC installs the meter within about 2 working days.
Tips
- Irembo also has WASAC services for reconnection and an extra (supplementary) meter.
